November 2019 Monthly Reading

This was written before I did the recorded reading and pulled some extra cards so if you’d like the full reading, make sure to check out the YouTube video:

Again, these cards were pulled on January 1 of this year for the collective. From the Archangel Oracle, Archangel Azrael, “Counselor.” “You are a natural counselor, and many people benefit from your guidance and reassurance.” I can think of obvious ways this applies to me and the work that I’ve started this year, and some of you too, may be coming to or have already realized that you too are a counselor or leader of some sort. If so, continue to foster and nurture your gifts. Follow your intuition and passion as you continue down your path. For others, you may be in a leadership or counselor-like role at work, or within your family or friend group(s). Perhaps people naturally come to you with their concerns, issues, problems or questions. Before deep-diving into this work, I remember thinking that people — especially strangers — were so forthcoming and open with sometimes very intimate details of their lives with me; it happened just after I finished drafting this yesterday!

These people clearly saw (and continue to see) something I had yet to see within myself. If you feel that you experience this, look into your birth chartor start journaling or writing down your thoughts and ideas. Do this for a week or a month and then go back and look to see if there are any synchronicities. The book’s guidance states, “Your life purpose involves counseling people in ways that uplift, motivate, comfort, heal and inspire. You’re a true spiritual counselor, and people find you to be a trustworthy confidante. Expand your counseling work to the next level, because you’re about to help greater numbers of people. Call upon me for guidance and support.” That last part refers to Archangel Azrael, not me though of course you’re always welcome to reach out to me with questions or to book a reading. The guidance goes on to state, “Azrael’s name means ‘Whom God Helps,’ and he helps those who are helpers. He’s particularly interested in helping counselors who work with the grieving and dying. Ask Azrael to guide your words and actions during counseling sessions, and he’ll help you remain patient and compassionate. He can also help you enter the counseling profession and guide you towards schooling, internships and a wonderful counseling practice.”

For our tarot guidance, the six of cups, which is an indicator of the past, family or soulmate connections or ties, as well as childhood or past life energy or issues. Given that we’re in Mercury Retrograde during Scorpio season, it’s highly likely that past issues or people may be coming back to finally be healed or to have some sense of closure. Obviously with past people, it’s up to you whether you will accept them back into your life or not; even if only temporarily for a bit of closure around a past betrayal or issue. For example, I went to the Wendy Williams’ Show the other day, and an audience member had a question as to whether she should reunite with a friend who had gone behind her back to tell her then boyfriend something untoward about her. Wendy encouraged the guest to reunite with her friend; in my humble opinion, I would have told her, have the discussion, but be wary about trusting someone who previously violated that trust. Wendy and I will just have to agree to disagree...and clearly the choice is ultimately up to each individual to decide who or what is right for them and when.

Some of you may also be continuing with inner child healing work, which is still prevalent in the energies - dealing with issues or trauma that arose in childhood that affect you to this day, perhaps even on a subconscious level. In a similar vein, some of you may be returning back to people, places and things, like hobbies, that brought you happiness and fulfillment in your childhood years. I’m also picking up on the energy of past life people, whether departed loved ones or ancestors, or people with whom you had a connection or relationship with in a past life. Who or whatever may be coming up for you, remember that love is the foundation upon which all of our life lessons are built.

This leads nicely into our last card, the numerology guidance, #6, “Love.” We’ve received this card in the past, and it’s a reminder that love is all around us. When we operate from the understanding that there is an abundance of love in the universe and that the more we promote and surround ourselves with love, the more it flows back to us. The books’ guidance states, “This card indicates  a need to see the world through the eyes of love, and to remember at all times that only love is real. When you look beyond the illusion to see the beauty in the world, you align yourself with Source and the intentions of your soul. Because you attract what you are, when you see through the eyes of love, that’s what will surround you in all areas of your life.”

The other cards in this month’s reading harken back to this idea. If you are a natural-born counselor, rely on your loving nature and allow that to permeate your advice and work. As well, with our relationships, regardless of what happened in the past or how we feel now, remember that love is the foundational language of all, and the only energy through which the spirit world speaks. Love conquers all in that sense. Affirm: “I see through the eyes of love, and attract more love into my life.”
